Foliage: We Art Together (2024)
In-gallery activation with an education module at the Louvre Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with Omar ElGamal, Marta Pienkosz, and Juan Rodriguez Zuluaga.
In an effort to make uncertain futures, unknown technologies, and the dynamic concepts of art and culture more tangible, our project tackles questions we all share about sustainability — the future of humanity and the possibly inevitable need to collaborate with machines and ultimately each other. Artificial intelligence, much like the exhibited artworks, stands as a testament to the wealth of knowledge accumulated over time —a testament to human ingenuity and creativity. Employing an AI diffusion model and blending participants' visions for a sustainable society with the Louvre's masterpieces, our goal is collectively reimagining a sustainable future, rendering it less abstract and more tangible.
Situated within the Louvre Abu Dhabi, a cultural space that encourages learning and inspires individual action, our project mirrors the importance of personal contributions to environmental sustainability.
